RT @bccover: That was awfully terrifying. Healthcare via a call center is basically the worst idea anyone could ever come up with.
Liberals will be the first to tell you that THEY are more tolerant of diversity than anyone.....except if you don't agree with their political philosophy. Whether it is Dan Cathay of Chik-fil-A (more on that later) or opposing the President, the legions of diversity and tolerance are anything but.....
The New Hampshire businessman who appears in a Mitt Romney television ad accusing President Barack Obama of “demonizing” small business owners has gone to his local police after receiving two “harassing” telephone calls and, he says, hundreds of nasty emails.
The ad was the "These Hands" ad and took a shot at the President's "If you've got a business, you didn't build that" comment that he made on July 13. Now before my liberal friends start crying about "context" realize, the context of that comment is actually WORSE - not better.
One of the calls CAME from (surprise) the Chicago area.....
One called him a “vile piece of (expletive),” among other things, and demanded he call Obama to apologize.
The caller was identified by Gilchrist through his caller ID. The man called from area code 630, which is the Chicago area. He has posted anti-Republican and anti-conservative messages on Twitter in the past, including a 2009 posts that said, “GOP needs to be eliminated,” and, “I am prepared to kill people. Let the tea bagers fire the first shot and I will pile up the bodies of the traitors.”
The dude has obviously never heard of this new fangled invention called "caller ID" - it allows the people that you call KNOW WHO CALLED THEM.....
The President and his supporters are certainly not shy about targeting people who dare to oppose dear leader. Just ask Frank Vander Sloot - an Idaho businessman who, after donating to the Romney campaign and a Romney supporting PAC, found himself the subject of TWO federal audits! Or Paul Schorr and Sam and Jeffrey Fox, whom the President called out in a campaign speech for "betting against America" aka donating to his opposition. Richard Nixon would be proud.
Demonizing the opposition is all that they have to run on this year. I know I said that yesterday but it is the undisputed truth of this campaign. That and we are dealing with a bully (and his bully friends) who can not argue the MERITS of their positions, so they respond in the only way they know how - with derision and anger.
The President loves to mewl about the climate of hate.....when his side is the ones losing the battle of ideas. However the side that is whining about the climate of hate are the ones fomenting it the most. Something you will never get a progressive liberal to admit.
